A reader emailed us to ask what to do if you forgot your Bank of America PIN. Here’s the solution.

A.) If you forgot your PIN to your ATM card:

You’ll need to request a new PIN number. Bank of America won’t tell you your old PIN because it’s encrypted, and that wouldn’t be safe(in case you use the same PIN number for multiple things). To get a new PIN
call the Bank of America Customer Service number listed on the back of your statement. Customer Service is available seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

B.) If you forgot your PIN to your online banking account:

Click the “Forgot Passcode” or “Forgot PIN” on the login page to request a new one.
